Epitec is seeking a Machine Repair Technician to support a leading manufacturing facility in Novi, Michigan. This is a hands-on maintenance role focused on keeping CNC and manual machining equipment operating efficiently through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities. We are looking for an experienced technician with strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

- Position: Machine Repair Technician
- Location: Novi, MI (100% Onsite)
- Duration: 12-Month Contract
- Pay: $29-$31
- Schedule: Day shift; potential 10-hour days
- Overtime: Possible Saturdays as needed

Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on CNC machines, manual machine tools, and facility equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Tear down damaged equipment and replace worn or defective components.
- Reassemble and test equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Perform oil changes, filter changes, lubrication, and routine inspections.
- Support tool changer maintenance and machine operational troubleshooting.
- Repair or replace motors, pumps, bearings, valves, sensors, and other machine components.
- Assist with maintenance of mobile equipment and facility machinery.
- Perform minor building maintenance, including basic electrical, plumbing, and cement work as needed.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow safety procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating or supporting CNC equipment.
- Experience in Machine Repair, Machine Maintenance, or Industrial Maintenance.
- Strong preventative maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of CNC and manual machine operations.
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with lubrication systems, oil changes, and filter replacement.
- Understanding of tool changer operations.
- Basic knowledge of electrical components, relays, sensors, circuit boards, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
