Associate I – Inventory

Location: Orlando, FL 32832
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $25.10/hour

Position Summary

We are seeking an Associate I – Inventory to support receiving, inventory management, material movement, and fulfillment operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with inventory control, warehouse operations, and powered industrial equipment while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments from carriers.
  • Inspect incoming materials and packages to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
  • Perform inventory transactions, data entry, and work order processing within inventory management systems.
  • Conduct quality control checks and verify part requirements according to established procedures.
  • Package, wrap, store, and prepare materials throughout fulfillment and manufacturing workflows.
  • Sort, stage, label, and identify materials to maintain inventory accuracy and traceability.
  • Store materials properly and conduct inventory audits in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Operate powered industrial equipment, including:
    • Forklifts
    • Reach trucks
    • Turret trucks
    • Electronic pallet jacks (EPJs)
  • Move heavy materials and components safely throughout the facility.
  • Identify operational issues, escalate roadblocks, and support root cause analysis efforts.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving activities.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse, fulfillment center, receiving, or inventory operations.
  • Previous forklift certification and experience operating powered industrial equipment.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance with PPE requirements.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality.
  • Effective communication skills in a technical or operational environment.
  • Basic mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to identify problems, gather relevant data, and support resolution efforts.
  • Ability to interpret inventory requirements from Bills of Material (BOMs).
  • Proven ability to build positive working relationships and contribute to an inclusive team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Warehouse, receiving, or inventory experience within the aerospace or automotive industry.
  • Experience working with inventory management systems and fulfillment operations.
  • Knowledge of material handling, inventory auditing, and warehouse best practices.
