Job Title: Fulfillment Center Associate
Location: Hutto, Texas
Pay Range: $25-27 per hour
Job Type: W2 Contract
Expected Hours per Week: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7AM – 5PM
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Fulfillment Center Associate to support warehouse and fulfillment operations including receiving, inventory control, material handling, packaging, quality inspections, and shipping activities. This role requires experience operating forklifts and other PIT equipment while maintaining strict safety standards in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, inspect, and document incoming shipments.
- Perform inventory transactions and data entry within inventory management systems.
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, turret trucks, and electronic pallet jacks (EPJs).
- Package, label, sort, stage, and store materials according to SOPs.
- Conduct quality inspections and inventory audits.
- Support order fulfillment and material movement throughout the facility.
- Identify process issues, escalate roadblocks, and participate in root cause analysis activities.
- Transport materials between locations using a non-CDL company vehicle.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and work order documentation.
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and equipment operating guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of fulfillment center, warehouse, or distribution operations experience.
- Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling.
- Forklift certification or demonstrated forklift operating experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Experience using warehouse management systems and performing data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow SOPs and safety procedures.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic math and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with inventory auditing and cycle counting.
- Knowledge of Bills of Material (BOMs).
- Experience operating reach trucks, turret trucks, and EPJs.
- Continuous improvement or root cause analysis experience.
- Experience in manufacturing or fulfillment center environments.
