Payroll & Data Reporting Specialist
Location: Providence, RI (101 Friendship St)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Contract: W2
Compensation: $34-36 with benefits
Overview
Epitec is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Data Reporting Specialist to support critical payroll, reporting, and data management functions. This role is ideal for someone with strong Microsoft Excel skills who enjoys working with large datasets, performing data analysis, and delivering accurate reporting in a deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Support Foster Parent Payroll processes
- Payroll experience is not required
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to manage and organize payroll-related data
- Perform Medicaid calculation activities
- Manipulate and analyze data to create accurate datasets for Medicaid claims
- Generate Imminent Risk reports
- Work with Excel-based RICHIST reporting and data transformations
- Track earnings and create large-scale reports
- Compile, analyze, and validate data for reporting purposes
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely completion of all reporting deliverables
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding reporting and data needs
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation and reporting
- Experience working with large datasets and performing data analysis
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Deadline-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Payroll experience is a plus but not required

- Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
- Standard business hours: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
