QA Analyst III (UAT & Automation Testing)

We are seeking an experienced QA Analyst III to support a large-scale application modernization initiative with a Tennessee government agency. This role will focus on User Acceptance Testing (UAT), manual testing, automation testing, and collaboration with business stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery of enterprise applications.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, strong analytical skills, and a proven background in both manual and automated testing.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities
- Create, maintain, and execute manual test cases and test scripts
- Develop and execute automated test scripts
- Identify, document, and track software defects
- Collaborate with business users, developers, and project teams
- Validate application functionality, integrations, and data accuracy
- Support API and system testing efforts
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Utilize testing tools to improve testing coverage and efficiency
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of Quality Assurance or Software Testing experience
- Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Strong background in manual testing
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- SQL and data validation experience
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Location Requirement
? Candidates must be local to the Nashville, TN area.
? This is a hybrid position and may require onsite attendance as needed.
Additional Requirements

? Fingerprinting is required.
? Ability to pass all client-required onboarding requirements.
Compensation
- $33-$36/hour W2
- Long-term contract through December 2027
