Production Systems Engineer
Pay: 28 – 30 an hr

We are seeking a Production Systems Engineer to support the build, integration, testing, and production of advanced electro-mechanical systems used in innovative technology applications. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong mechanical engineering background, hands-on assembly experience, and a passion for troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Perform technical assembly, integration, checkout, and testing of electro-mechanical systems.
- Support production builds and ensure timely completion of customer orders.
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation, technical data packages, and manufacturing instructions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on design updates, design for manufacturing (DFM), and process improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve product and equipment issues through root cause analysis.
- Conduct system checkout, functional testing, fault isolation, and diagnostic activities.
- Support production scheduling, material planning, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Coordinate with third-party manufacturers to facilitate documentation updates and production activities.
- Assist with flight testing, data collection, and reporting activities.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, defect-free products while maintaining safety and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Mechanics.
- Minimum 1 year of experience using PTC Creo.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on assembly experience.
- Experience with troubleshooting, testing, and problem-solving of electro-mechanical systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to interpret engineering requirements and technical documentation independently.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to obtain FAA Part 107 certification within three months of employment.
Preferred Experience
- Assembly, production, manufacturing, or engineering technician background.
- Design for Manufacturing (DFM) experience.
- Change management and engineering documentation control.
- Quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience supporting contract manufacturers and production environments.
Additional Information
- Approximately 75% of the day is spent on your feet.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Local travel may be required within a 30-mile radius.
