Monday – Friday, Onsite 

 

Pay Range: 

$40.00 – $46.00 per hour

Job Description:  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide triage, first aid, and referrals to outside medical providers when appropriate. 

  • Maintain accurate records of first aid care and injury-related activity. 

  • Conduct biomechanical and ergonomic assessments of warehouse job functions. 

  • Observe associates performing tasks and provide coaching on proper body mechanics and safe work practices. 

  • Lead daily stretching and warm-up routines during start-up meetings. 

  • Analyze soft tissue injury trends and develop corrective action recommendations. 

  • Prepare daily activity logs and monthly incident analyses for site leadership. 

  • Provide accommodation recommendations for employees working under medical restrictions. 

  • Partner with safety leadership to support continuous improvement initiatives. 

  • Spend significant time on the warehouse floor interacting with associates and managers to promote injury prevention and safe work habits. 

Requirements 

  • Current Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) certification through the National Athletic Trainers’ Association or equivalent state certification. 

  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association) or Professional Rescuer certification (American Red Cross). 

  • Ability to maintain all required medical credentials throughout employment. 

  • Experience providing injury prevention, injury management, and first aid support. 

  • Knowledge of ergonomics, biomechanics, and musculoskeletal injury prevention. 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. 

  • Strong communication, coaching, observation, and documentation skills. 

  • Ability to work effectively in a warehouse or industrial environment. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience working in an occupational, industrial, manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse setting. 

  • Certified instructor for First Aid, CPR, and AED training programs. 

  • Experience supporting industrial wellness initiatives. 

  • Experience working with Workers’ Compensation programs and return-to-work processes. 

  • Experience leading teams, training programs, or safety-related initiatives.
