Software Engineer (.NET / Angular)

Location: Salt Lake City, UT (Onsite)
Job Type: Contract to Hire 
Hours: 40 hours/week
Pay Range: $70-71 per hour

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join a high-performing technology team supporting enterprise applications within a large financial services environment. This role will focus on designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining business-critical applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with .NET development, Angular, and modern microservices-based architectures. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and contributing throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise software applications.
  • Build and support scalable microservices and API-driven solutions.
  • Develop user-facing applications using Angular and modern web technologies.
  • Create, test, and deploy new application features and system enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application and system performance issues.
  • Perform system analysis, debugging, and code optimization.
  • Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver solutions.
  • Monitor application performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.
  • Develop technical documentation, reports, and implementation plans.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership when needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Strong experience with:
    • C#.NET
    • ASP.NET Core
    • Angular
    • Entity Framework
    • Microservices Architecture
  • Experience building, testing, and supporting enterprise applications.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Docker containers.
  • Experience with GitHub Actions or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Harness.
  • Experience with integration testing and unit testing.
  • Experience working with MuleSoft APIs and integrations.
