Production Supervisor
Location: Louisville, KY
Shift: Onsite – Rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
Travel: None
Employment Type: W2 Contract through Epitec
Compensation: $36-38 per hour with Benefits
Overview
Epitec is seeking a Production Supervisor to support a high-volume manufacturing environment in Louisville, Kentucky. This role is ideal for a motivated leader who thrives in fast-paced operations, enjoys developing teams, and is passionate about driving safety, quality, and productivity improvements.
As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee daily manufacturing operations, support employee engagement, and help ensure production goals are achieved while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise production team members in a manufacturing environment
- Drive daily operational performance to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals
- Coach, mentor, and develop employees to support team success
- Identify and resolve production issues in a timely manner
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing performance
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions as needed
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred
- Experience in a supervisory, manufacturing, military, or related leadership role
- Internship and co-op experience will be considered
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
- Effective communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies
- Six Sigma training or experience
- Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) experience
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Background in continuous improvement initiatives
Additional Details
- Overtime may be required
- No travel required
- Training requirements: GRASP and HAZCOM training are not required for this position
