Job Description:
We’re seeking a Business Analyst to support the Plant Manager and leadership team at a fast-paced automotive manufacturing facility. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, Excel, Power BI, and presentations, while also partnering directly with plant leadership.
You’ll help turn operational data into clear reports, dashboards, and insights that leaders can use to make better business decisions. You’ll also provide limited scheduling and meeting coordination support to the Plant Manager.
This position offers excellent exposure to manufacturing operations and plant leadership and may provide opportunities for future full-time career growth within the organization.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and maintain recurring operational and management reports
- Analyze data to identify trends, variances, and potential areas of concern
- Review and validate data to ensure reporting accuracy
- Respond to ad hoc reporting requests from plant leadership
- Use Power BI to access, organize, visualize, and present plant data
- Help create and improve dashboards and reporting tools
- Develop PowerPoint presentations, charts, and leadership briefing materials
- Work with managers across the plant to gather information and understand reporting needs
- Help improve reporting processes and data quality
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, agendas, and materials for the Plant Manager
- Manage multiple priorities while meeting reporting and leadership deadlines
- Handle confidential business information appropriately
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent relevant education or experience may be considered
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience or familiarity with Power BI and data visualization
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to analyze information and communicate key findings clearly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and time-management skills
- Ability to work effectively with employees and leaders at different levels
- Comfortable balancing analytical responsibilities with limited scheduling and administrative support
Preferred Experience
- Internship, coursework, or professional experience involving business analysis, reporting, operations, or data analytics
- Experience creating or maintaining Power BI dashboards
- Exposure to databases, data-querying tools, or reporting systems
- Manufacturing or plant operations exposure
- Experience coordinating calendars, meetings, or leadership schedules
