Job Title: Senior Artificial Intelligence Specialist

Location: Dearborn, Michigan

Job Type: Full-Time

Expected hours per week: 40 hours

Schedule: Hybrid 4 days onsite/1 day remote

Pay Range: $75-80 an hour

Job Description:

Design, build, and deploy production AI applications using large language models (LLMs)
Develop RAG (retrieval augmented generation) systems that pull data from enterprise sources to produce accurate AI responses
Build and manage AI agents capable of multistep reasoning and tool usage
Develop backend AI services and APIs using Python and Flask
Design data pipelines (batch and real time) to ensure data is clean, reliable, and AI ready
Work extensively in Google Cloud (BigQuery, Vertex AI, Cloud Run, Postgres)
Architect OLTP and OLAP data patterns to support analytics and AI workloads
Implement and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform
Monitor AI pipelines for data quality, model performance, latency, and drift
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues impacting AI services and SLAs
Apply DevOps best practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and code quality checks
Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to align AI solutions with business needs
Ensure data governance, security, lineage, and compliance across systems
Document system architecture, data flows, and AI workflows
Provide Tier 3 support for production AI and data platforms
