About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support enterprise initiatives within a Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance environment. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, Agile Release Train (ART) leadership, and delivery teams to drive requirements definition, backlog management, and solution delivery across complex insurance and legal workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to plan and facilitate working sessions to elicit, analyze, and validate business requirements
  • Partner with the Agile Release Train (ART) to own and communicate Program Vision, manage the Program Backlog, and support Program Increment (PI) planning and roadmap development
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and acceptance criteria for delivery teams
  • Create and maintain documentation in Confluence, including use cases, process flows, business rules, user stories, and UI mockups
  • Manage requirements and backlog items using Jira
  • Support system and user acceptance testing (UAT) by ensuring test conditions, scripts, validation criteria, and expected results align with business and non-functional requirements
  • Participate in design reviews to ensure solutions meet business and non-functional needs
  • Conduct research and analysis to fully understand business problems and recommend innovative, cost-effective solutions

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role
  • Strong understanding of the Property & Casualty insurance industry, including products, practices, and operations
  • Experience working in Agile / SAFe environments, including ARTs and PI planning
  • Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with Legal Matter workflows and lifecycle
  • Understanding of system development life cycle (SDLC), interface design, and external vendor integrations
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to clearly convey business requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
