Business Development Consultant

Pay: $28 – $31 an hr

We are seeking a Business Development Consultant 2 with a strong background in Instructional Design, Training Development, and Learning & Development to support business initiatives through the creation and delivery of high-impact learning programs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys analyzing business needs, designing engaging training solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive organizational success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training modules, courses, and learning programs aligned with business objectives and customer service initiatives.
  • Conduct business needs analyses to identify training gaps and recommend effective learning solutions.
  • Apply instructional design methodologies, including ADDIE, to create engaging and effective training content.
  • Monitor training effectiveness through performance metrics and ROI analysis, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Review and maintain training materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into impactful learning experiences.
  • Analyze customer service and operational performance data to support training strategy development.
  • Support strategic initiatives through consulting, problem-solving, and relationship management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in instructional design, curriculum development, training, or learning and development.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering training programs.
  • Experience conducting business needs analyses and translating findings into learning solutions.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
  • Experience utilizing the ADDIE instructional design model.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with authoring tools such as dominKnow ONE.
  • Experience facilitating DACUM events.
  • Familiarity with Questionmark or similar assessment platforms.
  • Experience supporting customer service, operational excellence, or business transformation initiatives.
