Job Title: Parts Data Analyst

Location: Portland, OR-Hybrid

Job Type: Full Time, Contract

Expected hours per week: 40

Schedule: 7:30am-4:00pm

Pay: $30-$32.50/hr

Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Parts Data Analyst to support the accuracy and integrity of aftermarket service parts data used across critical business systems. This role serves as a key liaison between Engineering, Warranty, Aftermarket Parts, and other internal stakeholders to ensure truck parts information is accurate, complete, and readily available for customers and dealerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve the accuracy of service parts catalog data and related downstream systems.
  • Review, validate, and update part numbers, bills of material (BOMs), engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Serve as a data steward responsible for monitoring and maintaining data quality standards.
  • Conduct data audits and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Analyze data quality issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop, monitor, and report data quality metrics and performance measures.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Warranty, Aftermarket Parts, and other internal teams to resolve data discrepancies.
  • Support projects related to documentation control, system enhancements, and process improvements.
  • Utilize SAP, Paragon, PartsPro, and Microsoft Office tools to manage and maintain data integrity.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding documentation and data-related issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in data analysis, documentation control, parts management, engineering support, or a related field.
  • Experience with SAP or SAP-based systems required.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including:
    • Filters
    • VLOOKUPs
    • Pivot Tables
    • Macros (preferred)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Paragon, PartsPro, IMS, or similar systems.
  • Familiarity with aftermarket service parts, vehicle systems, or technical documentation.
  • Mechanical aptitude and understanding of automotive or commercial truck components.
  • Experience working in a dealership, automotive parts retailer, OEM, supplier, or manufacturing environment.

Typical Day

  • Generate reports and track data quality metrics.
  • Prioritize multiple requests and address urgent issues as they arise.
