Job Description:
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Solutions Analyst to support the analysis, design, and optimization of business processes and technology solutions. This role will partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, evaluate current-state processes, identify improvement opportunities, and support the delivery of technology solutions that align with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, documentation, testing, and communication skills, along with experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and Azure DevOps.
Key Responsibilities

Analyze business operations, workflows, and existing systems to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.

Elicit, document, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements from stakeholders across business and IT teams.

Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including flowcharts, swim lane diagrams, data flow diagrams, use cases, and other business analysis artifacts.

Evaluate current-state business processes and develop future-state recommendations leveraging technology solutions and system capabilities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure solutions meet business requirements.

Develop business and system requirements, specifications, and supporting documentation for new systems, enhancements, and process improvements.

Conduct cost-benefit analysis and support the evaluation of proposed projects, systems, and technology solutions.

Support testing activities, including test planning, validation, defect tracking, and user acceptance testing.

Utilize Azure DevOps to manage requirements, user stories, work items, and documentation throughout the development lifecycle.

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with project teams to facilitate successful solution delivery.

Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for leadership and stakeholders.

Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry best practices to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.

Minimum of 5 years of experience applying analytical processes on IT projects.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in business systems analysis and design.
Required Experience

At least 3 years of experience eliciting, documenting, and analyzing business processes using industry-standard methodologies and modeling techniques.

At least 3 years of experience capturing, managing, and documenting requirements throughout the development lifecycle using Azure DevOps.

At least 3 years of experience evaluating existing processes, identifying optimization opportunities, and documenting future-state improvements utilizing modern business application and cloud-based technologies.

Experience supporting software development lifecycle activities, including requirements management, testing, implementation, and process improvement initiatives.

Work Environment & Additional Requirements

Remote position available to candidates residing in California or neighboring states.

Candidates must successfully complete a background screening process, including fingerprinting, prior to onboarding.
