Now Hiring: Client Technologies Specialist 1
Location: Augusta, ME (100% Onsite)
Pay: $30/hr
I’m currently hiring for a Client Technologies Specialist 1 supporting the Office of Information Technology in Maine. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong desktop support experience who enjoys working hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
Contract: July 1, 2026 – November 1, 2026 (possible extension)
Travel: Local travel required (mileage reimbursed)

- Inventory management experience
- Experience working with State of Maine (preferred)
What You’ll Do:
- Provide onsite desktop and technical support
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computers and peripherals
- Support software upgrades, patches, and virus protection
- Manage inventory and lifecycle of IT equipment
- Coordinate new hardware/software installations
- Act as a point of contact for technology support and outages
- Assist with training, documentation, and system improvements
Requirements:
- Candidates must be within 1 hour of Augusta, ME
- Must be comfortable using personal vehicle for local travel
- Background check + fingerprinting required
