Communications & Training Specialist

Pay Rate: Up to $55/hour, depending on chosen benefits

Position Description:
The Communications & Training Specialist will assist the Communications & Training team in all aspects related to I-ERP communications, engagement, and training. 

Key Responsibilities:
Communications & Engagement

  • Develop and execute communication strategies and plans for I-ERP initiatives.
  • Create newsletters, podcasts (including Tek Talks and I-ERP Minute), and other internal communication materials.
  • Lead scripting and logistics for podcasts, ensuring end-to-end delivery aligned with business objectives.
  • Design global end-user engagement strategies and track performance metrics.
  • Develop internal communications for Purchasing, cross-functional teams, and leadership audiences.
  • Review and refine content developed by the team to ensure clarity and impact.
  • Provide input to corporate engagement strategies and external/public communication plans.
  • Deliver inspiring content with strong storytelling elements.

Training

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to design, develop, and update training curriculum for I-ERP courses.
  • Conduct engaging training sessions and workshops (in-person and virtual via MS Teams) for diverse audiences.
  • Strategically update training materials to improve comprehension and engagement.

Skills Required:

  • Communication management and strategic planning, including newsletters and podcasts.
  • Ability to lead podcast scripting and logistics.
  • Strong content development and refinement skills.

Primary Skills Preferred:

  • Experience in developing and managing training content.

Technical Skills:

  • Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence & Expert Systems.

Experience:

  • Required: 3–5+ years in communications and training roles with demonstrated depth in podcast logistics, internal communications, and training content development.
  • Preferred: Experience aligning communication strategies with organizational objectives.

Top 3 Skills:

  1. Podcast Leadership: End-to-end management of scripting and logistics for podcasts, with examples of how these efforts supported business objectives.
  2. Internal Communications Expertise: Ability to craft targeted, effective communications for Purchasing and cross-functional teams, demonstrating strategic channel selection and measurable impact.
  3. Training Material Development: Proven ability to format and update training content to meet evolving needs, improve engagement, and enhance learning outcomes.
