Production Associate I – Disassembly/Cleaning & Inspection

Duration: 1 year W2 Contract
Compensation: $23.50/hour
Role Summary
A leading manufacturing organization is seeking Production Associates to join its engine remanufacturing operation in Henderson, Colorado.
In this role, you will assist with the disassembly, cleaning, and inspection of diesel engine components, ensuring parts meet quality standards before moving through the production process.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are mechanically inclined, enjoy hands-on work, and want to develop skills within a manufacturing environment.
Team members will rotate through disassembly, cleaning, and inspection functions while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the disassembly of high-horsepower diesel engines.
- Clean engine components and parts according to production standards.
- Inspect components for quality and conformity before moving to the next production stage.
- Perform quality inspections and identify non-conforming materials.
- Follow standard operating procedures, quality processes, and manufacturing guidelines.
- Maintain production goals and required cycle times.
- Ensure work areas remain organized, clean, and safe.
- Perform routine operator care and basic maintenance tasks.
- Communicate effectively with production teams, skilled trades, and support staff.
- Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Experience using hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to follow work instructions and quality standards.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working with diesel engines, automotive systems, heavy equipment, or industrial machinery.
- Manufacturing, assembly, production, or mechanical repair experience.
- Experience performing inspections or quality checks.
- Knowledge of engine components and mechanical systems.
