Warehouse Associate
Location: Arlington, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $26.00/hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, inventory handling, system transactions, order fulfillment, and shipping activities while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and inspect materials for damage, accuracy, and discrepancies.
- Accurately sort, label, package, and store inventory to optimize warehouse space utilization.
- Process inventory transactions and maintain accurate records using warehouse systems.
- Pick, pack, and ship products according to customer orders and operational requirements.
- Operate manual and automated warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform quality checks to identify damaged, missing, or non-conforming materials.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment through routine housekeeping activities.
- Follow established work instructions, standard operating procedures, and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and support departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with equipment inspections and report maintenance or repair needs.
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to safety, quality, material flow, and productivity.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
- Experience with PIV (Powered Industrial Vehicle) operation.
- Strong computer skills and ability to perform inventory/system transactions.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Dependable attendance and commitment to workplace safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, or inventory software.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to safely move materials and operate warehouse equipment as needed.
- Ability to work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
