Data Analyst – Dealer Chat

Location: Hybrid – Global HQ, Warren, MI
Work Schedule: Hybrid (on-site 3 days per week minimum; additional days as required by the business)
Reporting To: Dealer Chat Engagement Lead


Role Overview

As the Data Analyst for Dealer Chat, you will play a key role in shaping and improvings digital dealer engagement experience. You’ll lead analytics and reporting efforts across digital interactions, transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that drive operational performance, dealer satisfaction, enrollment growth, and revenue.

This role is ideal for an analytical storyteller—someone passionate about using data to uncover trends, explain performance, and guide business decisions in a fast?evolving digital environment. As reporting needs and tools evolve, you’ll bring flexibility, curiosity, and innovation to your day?to?day responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, interpret, and distribute daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPI performance reports across all Dealer Chat departments
  • Analyze customer behavior, operational performance, and dealer feedback to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Leverage XM Discover to deepen insights and supplement findings with experience management data
  • Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards in Power BI to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders
  • Trend historical data to support annual planning, goal?setting, and measurable performance targets
  • Collaborate in quarterly analytics forums to share challenges, best practices, case studies, and guiding principles
  • Partner with teams to define and refine KPI definitions, performance thresholds, and goals
  • Support the forecasting team with scheduling analysis and scheduling audits
  • Educate and coach internal partners on research methods, analytics interpretation, and data literacy
  • Foster a metrics?driven culture that uses insights to guide decisions and improve outcomes
  • Participate in weekly Dealer Chat operations, coordinator, and support team meetings
  • Prototype and implement AI?driven solutions, including Generative AI and Agentic AI, to solve business problems and streamline processes

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present insights to both technical and non?technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills with experience synthesizing data from multiple sources and systems
  • Ability to thrive in a high?pressure, collaborative environment
  • Proven ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and prioritize strategically
  • Hands?on experience with Power BI and strong knowledge of data visualization and reporting best practices
  • Strong background in statistical analysis, including:
    • Reliability analysis
    • Analysis of variance (ANOVA)
    • Time series analysis
    • Categorical data analysis
  • Advanced experience with:
    • Anomaly detection, diagnostics, and prognostics
    • Root cause analysis
  • Demonstrated experience working with large?scale datasets and complex analytics problems
