DCIM Migration Specialist

About the Role:
This role will aid in migrating our data center infrastructure management (DCIM) systems from an existing platform to the Sunbird DCIM suite across a specified number of sites. The successful candidate will possess an understanding of DCIM to ensure a seamless and accurate transition. This is a fixed-term contract, focused on delivering specific milestones, and will require occasional travel to various sites for physical audits and data collection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sunbird DCIM Implementation: Set up and configure the Sunbird DCIM at specified sites.
- Data Migration & Integrity: Collect & migrate data from our client’s existing DCIM platform to the new Sunbird DCIM system, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Physical Audits: Conduct physical audits of data center facilities to verify existing infrastructure, gather necessary data, and ensure accurate input into the DCIM system.
Required Qualifications:
- DCIM Experience: Experience with DCIM including setup, configuration, and operational use.
- Technical Proficiency: Understanding of data center mechanical and electrical infrastructure monitoring.
- Project Orientation: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a project-driven environment, focusing on achieving specific outcomes.
- Learning Agility: Ability to quickly acquire and apply new technical skills and system knowledge in a fast-paced migration environment.
- Travel Availability: Ability and willingness to travel to various data center sites for physical audits and data collection as required.
Nice to Have:
- Migration Experience: Direct experience migrating DCIM data and configurations to Sunbird.
- Sunbird DCIM Experience: Experience with the Sunbird DCIM, including setup, configuration, and operational use.
