Job Type: W2 Contract
Expected hours per week: 40 hours per week
Schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm EST, Hybrid – 3 days on-site 2 days remote
Pay: $60 per hour

Position Overview

Employees in this job function are responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data solutions including data infrastructure, pipelines, etc. for collecting, storing, processing and analyzing large volumes of data efficiently and accurately Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand current and future data requirements
  • Design, build and maintain reliable, efficient and scalable data infrastructure for data collection, storage, transformation, and analysis
  • Plan, design, build and maintain scalable data solutions including data pipelines, data models, and applications for efficient and reliable data workflow
  • Design, implement and maintain existing and future data platforms like data warehouses, data lakes, data lakehouse etc. for structured and unstructured data
  • Design and develop analytical tools, algorithms, and programs to support data engineering activities like writing scripts and automating tasks
  • Ensure optimum performance and identify improvement opportunities

Engineer 3 Exp: 7+ years Data Engineering

Our preferred requirements:

  • Experience migrating from Alteryx to other cloud-based tools
  • Highly effective in working with product managers, product owners, and cross functional users of product teams
  • Experience developing products using extreme agile programming in a test-driven development (TDD).
  • Experience with software and platform operations
  • Experience building and shipping production grade software or services.
  • Have a deep desire to work closely, solve problems with groups, find win/win solutions and celebrate successes with other smart engineers.
  • Experience with any of the ETL, data integration products or any industrial data service.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate data and develop accurate documentation
  • Willingness to learn new technologies
Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree
Education Preferred:
Master’s Degree
