Job Description:
This role supports a major application upgrade from on?prem Dynamics AX 2012 R2 to D365 Finance & Operations within GM IT. The developer will work on the TMAX application, contributing to code development, reporting, and data integrations as part of a cross?functional team supporting a large migration initiative. This is a hands?on role focused on modern Microsoft platforms and enterprise-scale systems.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and enhance X++ code to support migration from Dynamics AX to D365 Finance & Operations
- Create and support reports, including Power BI reporting
- Support application upgrade activities for the TMAX system used in tooling and die planning
- Collaborate with business analysts, senior developers, and business leads to guide the upgrade process
- Work with Power Apps and Dataverse as part of the D365 ecosystem
- Support data movement and integration as data transitions to Databricks
- Troubleshoot issues and contribute to resolving technical challenges during the migration
