Location: Horicon, WI 53032
Duration: W2 Contract – 24 Months
Schedule: 1st Shift | Onsite
Core Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
Pay Rate: $51.00 – $53.50/hr.
Visa Sponsorship: Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
Additional Requirement: Metatarsal safety shoes required on Day 1

Job Summary

Seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the development of vehicle electrical systems for Riding Lawn Mowers and Compact Utility Tractors. This role will collaborate closely with supply management, quality, program management, validation teams, suppliers, and other cross-functional groups throughout the product development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own electrical system requirements (hardware and/or software) in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Design, develop, and release vehicle electrical systems, including wiring harnesses.
  • Create and maintain bills of material (BOMs) for vehicle electrical systems.
  • Work with external suppliers on component feasibility, development, and integration.
  • Provide support during product builds throughout various stages of the development cycle.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply management, and program teams to ensure successful product delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in vehicle electrical system design, integration, or testing.
  • Experience developing, designing, or testing electrical components, wiring harnesses, and schematics.
  • Understanding of hardware and software interaction within electrical systems.
  • Demonstrated experience managing project deliverables and timelines.
  • Knowledge of general product development processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with effective time management abilities.
  • Ability to support production builds during off-shift hours as needed.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Agricultural equipment or off-highway vehicle development experience.
  • Experience creating and maintaining bills of material (BOMs) for vehicle or test equipment systems.
  • Experience with embedded product validation and verification, including SIL or HiL testing environments.
  • Experience with software development or writing test scripts.
  • Experience developing wiring harnesses and electrical systems using 3D CAD tools.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or training team members.
  • Experience coordinating engineering work performed by remote teams.
  • Additional engineering discipline training or education.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering practices.
