Monday – Friday, Onsite, 1st Shift: Core hours 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM 

 

Pay Range: 

$41.35 per hour

Job Description:  

About the Role 

Performs basic product design, testing and/or analysis of work for a defined portion of a project. Operates in a team environment, providing input to design solutions, and participating in design reviews. Develops recommendations within established guidelines; work and decisions are reviewed by supervisors before implementation. 

This opportunity is ideal for new graduates and early-career engineers interested in product safety, compliance, testing, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements. We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate how they approach their work, research, and engineering problem-solving. 
 

Roles & Responsibilities 

  • Carry out a range of activities under the guidance of more senior colleagues to support the analysis of information and the specification of the methods and process steps, as well as the plant, machinery, and equipment, required to design and continuously improve manufacturing or materials processes and process systems. 

  • Contribute to the development of and implement feasibility testing of proposed engineering solutions to provide feedback and data to validate the design. 

  • Carry out a range of activities under the guidance of more senior colleagues to support the drafting of engineering standards and specifications and the evaluation of the effectiveness of those standards. 

  • Carry out inspections under the supervision of senior colleagues to evaluate the quality of engineering works and/or the integrity of existing installations or structures and make recommendations on remedial actions needed to ensure conformance with specifications and regulatory requirements. 

  • Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems, and procedures and support change management initiatives. 

  • Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals. 

  • Gather data from test labs, product engineering teams, and others in support of safety and compliance activities. 

  • Prepare compliance documentation for commercial mowing, golf, and other products. 

  • Create and maintain test activity template records. 

  • Work with third-party companies to gather information on market entry requirements. 

  • Work collaboratively with other professional teams to ensure cohesive and seamless support. 

  • Create and maintain technical and/or user documentation to a high standard.

What Makes You Stand Out 

  • Knowledge and familiarity of engineering concepts related to mobile off-road machinery. 

  • Familiarity with regulations and standards, including but not limited to EN, IEC, ISO, SAE, and UL. 

Education 

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level. 

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred.
