Job Summary
We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements, solve production issues, analyze data, and support continuous improvement initiatives on the factory floor. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn while spending significant time supporting operations within a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily quality activities within manufacturing operations and production processes.
  • Investigate product and process quality concerns using structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Analyze manufacturing and quality data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and operations teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Assist in monitoring quality metrics and preparing reports to support decision-making.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, process efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate quality issues, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Support audits, inspections, and compliance activities as required.
  • Travel between nearby facilities as needed to support quality and manufacturing operations.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the factory floor, spending the majority of time supporting production activities and quality initiatives.

Years of Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, Communications, Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field required.
  • Recent graduates with relevant manufacturing internship experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, quality, engineering, operations, or process improvement environments is preferred.
  • Experience working within a factory or industrial setting is beneficial.
