Configuration Analyst II – Product Engineering Support
Location: Cedar Falls, Iowa (Onsite)
Duration: 1-year Contract
Pay: Up to $36/hour

We are seeking a Configuration Analyst II to support product configuration, change management, and data quality initiatives across global product platforms. This role will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Parts & Service teams to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and effectiveness of configuration data throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and audit product structures, configuration rules, and related engineering data.
  • Develop and support variant configuration data, model structures, and machine configurations.
  • Implement engineering requirements, standards, and product changes within enterprise systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve configuration-related issues impacting product builds.
  • Support engineering change management processes and approval workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and implement product requirements.
  • Conduct data analysis and reporting to identify trends, improve decision-making, and ensure data quality.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, workflows, and configuration best practices.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on process efficiency and data integrity.
  • Provide training and guidance on configuration tools, systems, and processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of product configuration, Bills of Material (BOMs), specifications, and engineering data management processes.
  • Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) systems and workflow tools.
  • Understanding of engineering change management processes.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across cross-functional and global teams.
  • Experience collecting and analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP, PTC Windchill, Creo Parametric, iPPE, or similar systems.
  • Knowledge of variant configuration and configuration management.
  • Familiarity with cProjects, PPM, and workflow management tools.
  • Agricultural or manufacturing industry experience.
  • Experience supporting process improvement and global collaboration initiatives.
