DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a motivated Engineering Technician to support vehicle emissions testing and validation activities within a fast-paced engineering test environment. This position is responsible for setting up and executing emissions tests, collecting and validating test data, evaluating results, and recommending corrective actions when required.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Set up and perform vehicle emissions testing according to established procedures.
- Execute assigned test plans and independently operate testing equipment.
- Collect, validate, and document test data and results.
- Analyze test outcomes and identify issues or deviations from expected performance.
- Recommend corrective actions and escalate concerns when troubleshooting support is needed.
- Maintain accurate test records, reports, and documentation.
- Utilize computer systems for test scheduling, data entry, reporting, and communication.
- Follow laboratory and testing procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are maintained.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and team leads to support testing objectives.
- Participate in daily team meetings to review schedules, priorities, and communications.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
