Experimental Parts Coordinator
Location: Ankeny, IA (Onsite at 825 SW Irvinedale Drive)
Schedule: 1st Shift — flexible start between 6:00am–8:00am
Pay: $24.47/hr
Type: Full?time, 40 hours/week
Overtime: Optional; occasional required OT

About the Role
We’re seeking an organized, tech?savvy Experimental Parts Coordinator to support manufacturing operations by managing part routings, inventory, material transfers, and manufacturing documentation. This role is mostly desk?based but includes light shop?floor interaction.
What You’ll Do
- Create, edit, and troubleshoot manufacturing routings
- Generate laser operation programs and resolve related issues
- Review manufactured part prints and verify accuracy
- Monitor production inventory and forecast future material needs
- Transfer stock between departments and document movements
- Coordinate with supply management on purchased parts and stock availability
- Communicate material transfers with internal teams
- Update daily/weekly reports using Excel and MS Office
- Occasionally design or model simple parts in CAD tools
- Support engineers by troubleshooting part request issues

- SAP
- CREO
- AutoCAD
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
What We’re Looking For
- Strong computer skills and MS Office proficiency (especially Excel)
- Experience with inventory management
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Detail?oriented with strong data accuracy
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing or shop?floor environment
- Experience as a Material Coordinator, Inventory Coordinator, Production Support, or similar preferred
- No degree required
Work Environment & Requirements
- 90% desk work / 10% shop floor
- PPE required on the shop floor
- Company provides most PPE; candidate provides prescription safety glasses or metatarsal boots if needed
- Fully onsite — no remote option
