Field Marketing Manager – Federal (Contract)

Pay Rate: $55–$58/hr

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Field Marketing Contractor to support their Federal business. This role focuses on executing pre-planned marketing programs for the second half of the year, ensuring events and campaigns run smoothly, and partnering closely with the Federal sales team.
This is a highly execution-focused role responsible for keeping day-to-day field marketing activities on track. You will collaborate with Field Marketing, Sales, Marketing Operations, Engineering, and Channel teams to coordinate events, manage logistics, and support initiatives that drive pipeline and customer engagement.


Responsibilities

  • Execute Federal field marketing programs and campaigns for 2H
  • Support planning and execution of:
    • Tradeshows
    • Customer and partner events
    • Executive dinners
    • Webinars
  • Partner with Federal sales to prioritize marketing support needs
  • Manage event logistics including vendors, registration, and onsite support
  • Coordinate with Marketing Operations and Corporate Marketing for campaign launches
  • Drive event attendance through outreach and follow-ups
  • Track and report on campaign and event performance
  • Manage day-to-day marketing requests and activities
  • Assist with budget tracking and purchase order processes

Qualifications

  • 2–6+ years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, or regional marketing within B2B tech
  • Strong event execution and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting Federal/Public Sector organizations
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Splash (or similar event platforms), Tableau, and procurement tools
