Overview
The Places Finance team is seeking a Lease Payment Analyst to support a dynamic and fast-paced lease portfolio. This role is responsible for the day-to-day financial administration of lease payments, invoice processing, landlord reconciliations, and data analysis. The Analyst will work closely with internal teams including Real Estate and Lease Accounting, as well as external landlords and third-party partners to ensure accurate and timely lease-related payments and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Review, validate, and process lease-related invoices and payments in a timely manner.
- Support day-to-day administration of the lease portfolio and payment operations.
- Perform and review landlord reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with lease agreements.
- Analyze and interpret large data sets to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Collaborate with Real Estate, Lease Accounting, landlords, and third-party partners to resolve payment and lease-related issues.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while ensuring a high level of accuracy.
- Assist with process improvements and continuous enhancement of lease payment operations.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding lease payment inquiries and reconciliations.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, accounts payable, lease administration, or a related field.
- Experience reviewing and processing invoices and payments.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Ability to analyze and manage large volumes of financial data.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with lease administration, lease payments, or lease accounting.
- Experience performing landlord reconciliations.
- Experience working directly with landlords, property managers, or third-party vendors.
- Real estate industry experience.
- SAP experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
