Summary
Our client is seeking a Financial Analyst to support operational finance and budgeting initiatives within a fast-paced, entertainment-focused environment. This role sits at the intersection of finance, publicity, and production operations, supporting high-volume budgeting, reporting, and vendor management activities.

This position is well suited for a professional with experience in financial planning, purchase order management, and budget tracking, ideally within media, entertainment, publicity, or marketing environments. The Financial Analyst will collaborate cross-functionally to support financial workflows tied to events, communications, and talent-related initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Budget Management

  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking across multiple projects and initiatives
  • Analyze actuals vs. budget and provide variance reporting to ensure financial accuracy
  • Support cost analysis and financial planning efforts in collaboration with internal stakeholders

Purchase Orders & Invoice Management

  • Develop and manage purchase orders and ensure accurate processing of invoices
  • Track financial transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Support vendor setup and onboarding processes in partnership with procurement teams

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare reports to support financial visibility across projects and programs
  • Monitor cost allocations and support financial decision-making through data insights
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements within financial workflows

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with teams including Finance, Legal, Procurement, and external vendors
  • Support budget creation and contract-related financial analysis
  • Contribute to efficient operational processes across cross-functional initiatives

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or purchase order management

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Strong knowledge of purchase order and invoice management processes
  • Experience working in entertainment, media, publicity, marketing, or similar industries
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience supporting publicity, talent relations, awards, or events-related financial operations
  • Familiarity with vendor management and procurement processes 
  • Background working in global or large-scale operational environments
