Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to join our Enterprise Integration team. This team is responsible for delivering reusable, scalable, and loosely coupled integration solutions that streamline business processes, improve user experiences, and enhance data quality across the organization.

The Integration Engineer will design, develop, maintain, and support integration solutions using MuleSoft and SnapLogic. This role will work across a broad range of integration use cases, connecting SaaS platforms, AWS-hosted applications, cloud-native services, and on-premise systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern integration patterns, API development, event-driven architectures, and enterprise integration best practices, while collaborating with globally distributed teams and driving solutions with a high degree of ownership.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Architecture & Design

  • Create and maintain high-quality integration designs, including High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs).
  • Evaluate and implement appropriate integration patterns, including real-time APIs, event-driven architectures, publish-subscribe models, asynchronous messaging, and batch integrations.
  • Define API specifications, integration contracts, and reusable integration frameworks aligned with enterprise security and governance standards.
  • Clearly document integration solutions, design decisions, risks, and architectural rationale for technical and business stakeholders.
  • Identify technical risks, issues, constraints, and dependencies, communicating them effectively throughout project lifecycles.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of integration best practices, standards, and design methodologies.

Integration Development & Delivery

  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, estimation, development, and delivery activities.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support integration solutions using MuleSoft and SnapLogic.
  • Implement integrations across SaaS applications, AWS-hosted solutions, cloud-native platforms, and on-premise systems.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and release management processes.
  • Build secure, scalable, resilient, and observable integration solutions with comprehensive monitoring, logging, error handling, and performance optimization.
  • Utilize AWS messaging and event services, including SQS and SNS, to support event-driven architectures.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, engineering leaders, and cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end integration solutions.
  • Leverage integration platform capabilities including API management, gateway policies, runtime environments, data transformation, orchestration frameworks, and connectors/adapters.
  • Drive standardization, reusability, and operational excellence across integration solutions and platforms.
  • Support production deployments, incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and participate in on-call support rotations.
  • Collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
