Inventory Associate – 2nd Shift

Schedule: Monday – Friday
Shift: 3:00 PM – 12:30 AM PST
Hours: 45–55 hours/week
Pay Rate: $32.00 – $34.00/hour

Job Summary

This role supports fulfillment center operations with a focus on receiving, inventory management, packaging, and material movement. The associate will follow standard operating procedures, ensure quality control, and contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and escalating process issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, monitor, and escalate workflow roadblocks that could cause downstream defects; support root cause analysis and problem-solving
  • Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, electronic pallet jacks (EPJs), reach trucks, and turret trucks
  • Unload incoming shipments and inspect packages per standard operating procedures
  • Perform quality control checks to verify part requirements and ensure proper processing
  • Document receipts and work orders using inventory tools and systems
  • Perform data entry within inventory management systems for tracking and processing parts
  • Identify appropriate packaging methods and properly store or wrap parts throughout the workflow
  • Sort, stage, and move materials (boxes, crates, containers) to maintain organization and prevent loss
  • Ensure all parts are properly labeled and marked according to standard procedures
  • Assign storage locations and perform inventory audits in accordance with SOPs

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of fulfillment center, warehouse, or inventory operations experience
  • Experience with receiving, inventory control, and packaging processes
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Basic math and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to navigate inventory management systems and perform data entry
  • Understanding of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and inventory requirements
  • Strong communication skills in a technical environment
  • Ability to work 45–55 hours per week

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous certified forklift or PIT equipment experience
  • Experience in aerospace or automotive warehouse/manufacturing environments

Safety Requirements

  • Adherence to all safety protocols and guidelines, including use of PPE
  • Participation in safety training and safe equipment operation practices
