Job Title: Office Assistant
Location: Orange, CA 
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM 
Contract: 2 months
Pay Rate: $15-18 per hour

 

Summary
The Office Assistant provides day-to-day administrative support to ensure efficient office operations. This role is responsible for managing clerical tasks, maintaining files, processing documentation, and supporting internal communication.

 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and type standard correspondence and form letters
  • Set up, organize, maintain, and retrieve claim files
  • Process documentation packets accurately and efficiently
  • Perform data entry and ensure claim files are properly documented in internal systems
  • Create and update spreadsheets and documents using standard software applications
  • Answer incoming calls and initiate outbound calls as needed
  • Maintain office supply inventory, including stationery
  • Coordinate outgoing mail, including overnight and messenger services
  • Process returned mail and unidentified correspondence
  • Send and receive facsimiles
  • Print reports and related documentation

Additional Duties

  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
  • Support organizational quality programs and initiatives

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required

  • Minimum of 6 months of clerical or administrative experience preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
