Senior IT Project Manager
Location: Dearborn, MI 48126
Schedule: Hybrid – 4 days onsite
- Some OT may be required
Long-term 6 year contract
Summary
We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager with experience on the infrastructure side (data center, network, facilities management). They will be managing several concurrent projects which are scheduled over the next 6 years so this is a long-term role.
Projects Include:
- DCIM Migration
- Other data modernization projects
- Plant computer room facility upgrades – upgrading power distribution, replacing HVAC systems, UPS, PDUs.
Infrastructure Project Manager:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of data center infrastructure initiatives (build/refresh, moves/adds/changes, remediation, tooling deployments) to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop and manage the integrated project plan; identify dependencies, critical path, and resource needs across IT, facilities, network, and vendors.
- Establish project governance and cadence (kickoff, standups, weekly status, steering) and provide clear reporting of progress, milestones, and blockers.
- Own RAID management: proactively identify, log, mitigate, and escalate risks/issues and track assumptions and dependencies to closure.
- Coordinate site readiness activities (access, safety, change windows, outage planning) to minimize impact to operations.
- Manage vendors and third parties (SOWs, scheduling, deliverables, acceptance) and ensure work meets agreed requirements and quality.
- Drive scope and change control; document impacts, maintain decisions, and align stakeholders on priorities and tradeoffs.
- Partner with Finance/Procurement on estimates, purchase orders, invoice validation, and budget tracking/forecasting.
Requirements:
- 5+ years as a Project Manager
- Experience managing infrastructure related projects
- Tools – MS Project, Jira
- Experience with project financials — managing budgets and purchase orders.
