Details: 12-month contract with ongoing need, opportunity for direct hire, fully onsite role
Pay Rate: $36.00 – 38.50/hr. with benefit inclusions
Job Summary
Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the development and optimization of centrifugal casting processes in a foundry environment. This hands-on role combines process development, experimentation, and manufacturing execution to improve safety, quality, traceability, and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize centrifugal casting processes and manufacturing parameters.
- Plan, execute, and document Design of Experiments (DOE).
- Analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and implement process improvements.
- Support daily equipment setup, testing, and process validation activities.
- Document findings, process changes, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and leadership teams to communicate results and resolve roadblocks.
- Drive manufacturing safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the transition of new manufacturing processes into production.
Years of Experience and Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
- Associate's degree with 4+ years of relevant industrial experience will be considered.
- Master's degree candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, foundry operations, or industrial engineering environments.
