Job Title: Materials Coordinator II 

Location: Davenport, IA 

Job Type: 12 month, Full time, on-going contract 

Expected hours per week: 40 hours per week 

Schedule: On-site, Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm, Overtime/Weekends as needed 

Pay Range: $32.22 per hour

Job Description:  

Position Overview 

  • The Material Coordinator II is responsible for supporting inventory accuracy and materials management within a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on cycle count processes, root cause analysis, and resolving inventory discrepancies to ensure production continuity. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, data-driven, and comfortable working cross-functionally to identify and solve inventory-related issues. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Perform and support inventory cycle counts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal processes 

  • Analyze inventory discrepancies and conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues 

  • Partner with production, supply chain, and warehouse teams to investigate and correct inventory problems 

  • Monitor and maintain inventory records to ensure alignment between system and physical stock 

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources to improve inventory processes 

  • Develop and maintain reports using Excel to track performance, trends, and variances 

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency 

  • Ensure timely resolution of production inventory issues to prevent downtime 

  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment 

Required Qualifications 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) 

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 

  • Ability to analyze data and solve problems independently 

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams 

  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts as needed 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (preferred but not required) 

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, charting) 

  • Experience working with inventory systems, cycle counts, or warehouse operations 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
