Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Material Coordinator II to support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for ensuring materials are available when needed, maintaining inventory accuracy, resolving shortages, supporting production schedules, and coordinating material flow throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory control, manufacturing operations, material planning, or production support and enjoy working directly with cross-functional teams to keep operations running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate material flow across multiple production departments.
  • Ensure materials are available to support daily production schedules.
  • Monitor inventory levels and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Investigate and address material shortages while expediting critical parts as needed.
  • Support inventory accuracy and material replenishment activities.
  • Process inbound and outbound material transactions.
  • Utilize production schedules and inventory reports to support operations.
  • Coordinate with operations, logistics, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to material flow and inventory management.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Inventory Control, Manufacturing Operations, Production Support, or Material Planning.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Preferred:

  • SAP or MRP system experience.
  • Material coordination or production planning experience.
  • Manufacturing or factory experience.
  • Military logistics or supply experience.
  • Experience managing material shortages and inventory accuracy.

Schedule & Work Environment

  • 1st Shift Position
  • Typical work week is 40+ hours
  • Frequent overtime opportunities
  • Weekend work may be required based on business needs
  • Fully onsite position
  • Metatarsal boots required (all other PPE provided)
