Job Summary
The Manager, Digital Merchandising is responsible for driving a data-driven, consumer-first digital experience that enhances online engagement and increases sales performance. This role partners closely with brand, marketing, and cross-functional eCommerce teams to define product assortment, optimize on-site merchandising strategies, and continuously improve the customer journey across global digital platforms. The position also supports global alignment of merchandising initiatives and manages site content strategy while leading a direct report.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales performance and conversion through effective digital merchandising strategies and best practices
- Partner with global brand and marketing teams to define product assortment, messaging, and on-site experiences
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product launches and new site feature rollouts
- Develop and manage a site content calendar aligned with business priorities and brand initiatives
- Coordinate with creative teams to deliver high-quality digital assets that enhance the customer experience
- Analyze website performance using web analytics tools and translate insights into actionable strategies to improve KPIs
- Ensure consistency and alignment across global eCommerce platforms, including U.S. and EMEA regions
- Lead and mentor direct report while managing day-to-day merchandising execution
- Support global coordination across eCommerce, marketing, product, and operations teams
Years of Experience and Education
- 8+ years of professional experience, preferably within retail, consumer products, or similar industries
- Proven experience in eCommerce merchandising, digital marketing, or related functions
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field
Skills Required
- Strong expertise in digital merchandising and eCommerce best practices
- Experience working cross-functionally in complex, global environments
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive business decisions
- Proficiency with web analytics tools and KPI performance tracking
- Experience with Shopify platform or similar eCommerce systems
- Project management experience with tools such as Monday.com
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to build relationships and influence internal and external partners
- Experience collaborating with global teams, including EMEA regions preferred
- High level of adaptability and flexibility, including availability outside standard business hours when required
