Pay Rate: $38.00 – 40.00/hr. with benefit inclusions

Job Summary
This role is responsible for supporting end-to-end product supply and quality initiatives, ensuring components and finished products meet quality, cost, and timeline expectations. The position partners closely with engineering, supply chain, and supplier teams to execute Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), drive cost optimization, and strengthen supplier performance. The individual will play a key role in maintaining quality standards, improving manufacturing processes, and implementing supply strategies that enhance overall operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
• Manage APQP and cost-related activities from concept through PPAP to ensure timely delivery of high-quality components at optimized cost
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, packaging, transportation, and quality to support product development and sourcing decisions
• Utilize systems such as Teamcenter and workflow tools to identify and coordinate supplier sourcing for components
• Escalate supplier quality issues and drive containment actions in partnership with supplier development resources
• Implement product supply strategies aligned with broader category management objectives to strengthen the supply network
• Maintain quality feedback loops and ensure lessons learned are applied across suppliers to prevent recurring defects
• Drive Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives through cost modeling, manufacturability improvements, and supplier collaboration
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical data to support sourcing and quality activities

Years of Experience and Education
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience required
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred (Mechanical, Industrial, Supply Chain, or related fields

Skills Required
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments
• Experience with APQP methodologies and ability to apply quality planning principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel
• Familiarity with product lifecycle or workflow management systems (e.g., Teamcenter)
• Knowledge of cost analysis, should-cost modeling, or value engineering concepts
• Exposure to 3D modeling tools such as Creo or similar platforms
• Understanding of Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
