Position Overview

  • Zendesk is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to support the continued growth of its Contact Center business. This role will serve as a key partner to Product, Sales, Marketing, and Enablement teams, helping bring Contact Center solutions to market and clearly communicate Zendesk's value to customers and prospects.
  • The ideal candidate is a strategic yet hands-on product marketer who excels at translating complex technology into compelling customer value propositions. This individual will be responsible for positioning and messaging, go-to-market execution, product launches, sales enablement, competitive intelligence, and market research. The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • This is a temporary assignment providing coverage for a member of the Product Marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine differentiated positioning and messaging for Zendesk's Contact Center solutions.
  • Partner closely with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Enablement teams to create and execute go-to-market strategies for new products, features, and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead and support product launches from planning through execution, including launch messaging, sales readiness, internal communications, and customer-facing materials.
  • Create compelling product marketing content including pitch decks, solution briefs, presentations, web content, sales collateral, customer-facing messaging, and enablement resources.
  • Equip Sales and customer-facing teams with messaging, competitive insights, and tools that help drive customer engagement and business growth.
  • Conduct market, customer, and competitive research to identify trends, opportunities, customer pain points, and differentiation strategies.
  • Partner with Product teams to incorporate customer and market insights into product strategy and roadmap discussions.
  • Develop competitive positioning and messaging that effectively communicates Zendesk's value and advantages in the marketplace.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate go-to-market effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Support enterprise sales motions by developing messaging and content tailored to customer needs and buyer personas.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4-7 years of experience in Product Marketing, preferably within B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or technology environments.
  • Demonstrated experience developing product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Experience supporting product launches and cross-functional marketing initiatives.
  • Ability to understand technical or complex products and translate features into meaningful customer benefits and business outcomes.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Experience developing customer-facing marketing content and sales enablement materials.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and Enablement teams.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and drive initiatives forward in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Contact Center, CCaaS, Customer Experience, Workforce Engagement, Voice Technology, Conversational AI, or related technology solutions.
  • Knowledge of Contact Center buyers, customer service operations, and customer experience organizations.
  • Experience marketing AI-powered SaaS solutions and bringing AI capabilities to market.
  • Experience supporting enterprise sales teams and complex sales cycles.
  • Familiarity with competitive analysis, market intelligence, and customer research methodologies.
