Title: Product Service Engineer
Location: Mossville, IL
Details: 12-month contract with ongoing need, opportunity for direct hire, fully onsite role
Pay Rate: $43.00 – $46.00/hr. with benefit inclusions

Job Summary
This role serves as the initial point of contact for dealers and internal representatives supporting equipment upgrades with modern connectivity technology, with a primary focus on mining applications. The position plays a critical role in enabling hardware deployments and subscription-based solutions by delivering reliable connectivity support, ensuring successful implementation, and providing clear technical communication to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Act as first-line support for dealer and internal inquiries related to connectivity solutions for mining equipment.
  • Support equipment upgrades by coordinating, validating, and enabling connectivity technologies aligned with current solution offerings.
  • Respond to and resolve open technical items raised by customers, dealers, or internal representatives in a timely manner.
  • Proactively identify potential issues, data gaps, or implementation risks and recommend corrective actions.
  • Gather, analyze, and report relevant data to support connectivity performance, solution adoption, and customer outcomes.
  • Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders to support successful solution deployment.

Years of Experience and Education

  • Experience: 5–7 years of relevant professional experience
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required
    • Associate degree accepted with 7+ years of relevant experience
    • Master’s degree requires a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Internships: Not accepted as qualifying experience
  • Relevant Background: Experience supporting or managing mining equipment upgrades, specifically connectivity-related solutions

Technical Skills (Required):

  • Dealer-based connectivity solution support experience
  • Mining product or mining technology experience

Soft Skills (Required):

  • Clear, precise technical communication across multiple stakeholder groups

Additional Skills (Desired):

  • Prior customer or dealer support experience
