Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support transportation, vendor management, inventory control, and warehouse operations. This role is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining vendor compliance, supporting inventory management, and ensuring materials are delivered efficiently to manufacturing partners and fulfillment centers. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, logistics experience, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and coordinate strategic and daily operational relationships with manufacturing vendors globally.
- Work closely with the Logistics Manager to ensure timely and accurate deliveries to and from fulfillment centers.
- Support the Operations Team with shipment scheduling and tracking using Monday.com.
- Purchase supplies and maintain vendor relationships while identifying cost-saving opportunities through bulk purchasing.
- Coordinate supply deliveries to vendors to minimize production delays.
- Manage inventory levels for company supplies supporting vendors and tour operations.
- Audit warehouse orders and inventory stock as needed.
- Prepare and report quality and logistics KPIs.
- Issue vendor chargebacks for non-compliance incidents.
- Schedule and track shipments for the tour team.
- Research logistics trends, industry updates, and transportation news for internal stakeholders.
- Cross-train across operational functions and support special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of logistics, supply chain, transportation, warehouse, or related experience.
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Excel.
- Experience with order management and customer service.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends.
- Proven ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Experience in logistics and transportation operations.
- Experience with warehousing and distribution processes.
- Experience in consumer products, retail, or e-commerce environments.
- Experience working with vendor compliance programs and inventory management.
