Wireless Module Engineer (Program Manager I)
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid)
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Pay Rate: $52/hour
Overview
We are seeking a Wireless Module Engineer (Program Manager I) to drive wireless module development from initial architecture through mass production. This role combines technical wireless/RF engineering expertise with program management responsibilities, requiring someone who can coordinate cross-functional teams, manage hardware development activities, analyze technical data, and drive issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Define module configurations and track hardware design changes.
- Coordinate engineering builds and manage associated purchase orders.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and international partners.
- Track technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
- Analyze electrical test and build data to identify performance or quality concerns.
- Partner with test organizations and manufacturing teams to ensure quality and performance targets are achieved.
- Manage project schedules, risks, and deliverables throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support wireless module development from concept through mass production (MP) ramp.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of engineering experience.
- Understanding of RF fundamentals and wireless technologies.
- Program or project management experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to identify issues and drive resolution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing wireless modules from concept through mass production.
- Consumer electronics industry experience.
- Knowledge of wireless module manufacturing processes.
- Experience with packaging, product engineering, ATE, or reliability engineering.
- Vendor management experience.
- Experience leading meetings across multiple time zones.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience creating project schedules, work breakdown structures, and risk mitigation plans.
