Project Coordinator III
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid -2/3 Days Onsite)
Pay Rate: $40.00-$45.00/hour
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 Hours/Week
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator III to support key business initiatives within a fast-paced corporate environment. This role will partner closely with Project Managers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to coordinate project activities, maintain documentation, track deliverables, and support process improvement efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience managing multiple priorities, and the ability to drive projects forward with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers with planning, scheduling, status reporting, and project execution activities.
- Coordinate contracts, purchase orders, and transactional processing within Workday or similar systems.
- Track project milestones, action items, risks, and ongoing deliverables.
- Create and maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, presentations, status reports, and communications.
- Gather, analyze, and synthesize data to support business decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate meetings, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure timely follow-up on action items.
- Assist with process analysis, performance measurement, and reporting initiatives.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with business partners, SMEs, and leadership teams to support project and program objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3+ years of Project Coordination, PMO, Business Operations, or related experience.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience creating project plans, status reports, and executive presentations.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities with a sense of urgency and minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Workday, procurement, contracts, or purchase order processing.
- Background supporting Governance, Risk, Compliance, Audit, or Corporate Operations teams.
- Experience with business process analysis and process improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of change management principles and methodologies.
