Position: Project Management Analyst Lead

Pay: $34-36 per hour
Description: We are seeking an experienced professional to support vehicle programs by coordinating electrical design, development, validation, release, and launch activities. This role supports Program Management Teams (PMTs), program managers, and engineers to ensure GPDS milestones are achieved while managing multiple projects, engineering changes, quality deliverables, and cross-functional activities. The ideal candidate can work independently, resolve issues proactively, interface with senior leadership, suppliers, manufacturing, and engineering teams, and thrive in a fast-paced matrix organization.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage electrical engineering design, development, validation, certification, and launch activities for programs.
- Lead cross-functional engineering change (DCR/CR) management from initiation through approval, including cost, timing, tooling, and manufacturing impact assessments.
- Track ESI deliverables and GPDS milestones from KO through FEC, identifying timing risks, supplier concerns, and build readiness issues.
- Manage feature-to-part complexity matrices and align electrical architectures, module variants, harnesses, and MFAL requirements.
- Drive on-time release of ECUs, wire harnesses, and electrical components while resolving WERS alerts and release issues.
- Facilitate Interface Agreements (IAs) between Electrical Systems Integration and other module teams to support successful integration testing.
- Utilize WERS and Teamcenter to monitor design maturity, engineering concerns, BOM alignment, CAD status, and release readiness.
- Support Change Control meetings, supplier sourcing activities, FMA deliverables, FEDE DVP closure, regulatory compliance requirements, and BOM sign-offs.
- Attend and support Red Border, Part Shortage, and Open-To-Go (OTG) meetings, driving resolution of PMT-related issues.
- Track FEDE requirements, assessments, testing evidence, and engineering compliance through production launch.
- Lead D&R interface meetings and support closure of open issues related to DVPs, CRs, FEDE BOMs, FMA, shortages, sign-offs, and launch readiness.
- Maintain strong collaboration with engineering, suppliers, manufacturing, quality, and management teams to ensure timely decision-making and successful program execution.
Requirements:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent; Associate Degree with relevant experience considered.
- 5+ years of automotive program, product development, or engineering experience.
- Experience supporting vehicle launches and working within cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of GPDS processes and engineering tools, including: FEDE BOM, WERS, AIMS, 8Ds, Part Sign-Off, GPIRs, FEDE DVP, DFMEA, FMA, and Six Sigma
- Experience with Change Management, Product Development, Product Management, Release Management, and Systems Engineering.
- Advanced proficiency with WERS and Teamcenter.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and complex issues under aggressive timelines.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
