Role: IT Consultant – (eCheck Payment Solution)
Location: (Hybrid | Daughin County, PA)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (minimum 2 days onsite/week)
Duration: 12-month contract- possible extension
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Consultant to design, develop, and implement a secure eCheck (ACH) payment solution integrated with an existing Online Payment System (OPS). This role will focus on building a seamless, customer-facing experience while ensuring secure, compliant, and scalable transaction processing in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop a web-based eCheck (ACH) payment module integrated with the OPS platform
- Build and maintain a secure, customer-facing payment interface via PUC website(s)
- Develop backend services and APIs to support payment processing and validation
- Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, NACHA, and data protection standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into system architecture and UX design
- Integrate, test, and deploy solutions with enterprise and legacy systems
- Conduct usability reviews and recommend interface improvements
- Troubleshoot payment processing, system integration, and performance issues
- Document architecture, workflows, and technical specifications
- Support ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and production support
- Participate in code migration from TFS to Azure DevOps (ADO) using Git
- Utilize Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, work tracking, and code management
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with payment systems (ACH/eCheck)
- Proficiency in web application development and system integration
- Experience developing APIs and backend services
- Knowledge of financial regulations and security standards (PCI-DSS, NACHA)
- Experience working with Azure DevOps (ADO) and Git
- Ability to work in a regulated, enterprise environment
