Front-End Software Engineer I (Hybrid) – Dearborn, MI

Location: Hybrid (4 days onsite per week)

What You'll Do
- Partner with customers and stakeholders to understand business needs, user pain points, and application requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications.
- Create engaging user experiences using modern front-end technologies and frameworks.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, Architects, Back-End Developers, and QA teams.
- Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for new features and enhancements.
- Participate in UI design reviews, product demonstrations, and agile development activities.
- Perform automated functional and UI testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, optimize performance, and continuously improve application functionality.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards, cross-browser compatibility, and web best practices.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, development trends, and modern UI/UX practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4 years of experience in software development.
- Experience with:
- HTML5
- CSS3
- JavaScript
- React and/or Angular
- Python
- Database technologies
- Understanding of responsive design and modern web development principles.
- Familiarity with automated testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Familiarity with SEO principles and cross-browser testing.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
