About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to serve as the primary quality resource at a manufacturing facility in Arlington, TX. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure product and process excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong manufacturing quality experience, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead quality engineering activities supporting manufacturing operations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards, inspection methods, and testing procedures.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
- Evaluate production processes and implement improvements to enhance product quality and reliability.
- Review and approve sampling plans, inspection procedures, and quality documentation.
- Support risk assessments and quality risk management activities.
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend solutions for continuous improvement.
- Review engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to ensure compliance with requirements.
- Collaborate with operations, manufacturing, and engineering teams to improve product and process quality.
- Provide guidance and training on quality-related processes and standards when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of Quality Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality risk management principles.
- Demonstrated experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with quality management systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of FMEA, CAPA, SPC, 8D, or similar quality tools.
- Experience supporting manufacturing process quality and product reliability.
- Leadership or mentoring experience within engineering or quality teams.
- Familiarity with inspection, testing, and measurement systems.
